What a wonderfull way to start our milestone 5th season! Take a look at the HYPE on everyones face! It only gets better!
JOHNSON
John, it's 4 :00 AM, needed a B'men fix and low and behold (as always) Johnny Boy comes through in the clutch. Looks like a great start to another wonderful season in the friendly confines of the Oil City.

To all, have a great parade and performance today a the "V". If the walls could talk, you would receive an education second to none about B'men history and folklore at our home away from home.

Miss all of you! Uncle J'sn

John, glad to be of service, if only you could have heard it as well!

It did not sound like a first rehearsal, it was more like a continuation of where we left off in Rochester! The train keeps on rollin'

Now get some sleep!

Miss you guy, see you soon..................John

Great photos. This must be the first time ever the corps appeared in full uniform outside the V.

If the walls could only talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankie the Midget, Big Frank and Ditty, Cowboy, The Pro, The Deacon, Albino, Jimmy Hill, among those enshrined in the virtual Venice Hall of Fame.

I remember when a bar pie cost 95 cents.

Schooners! Year 'round flies! Grease fires!

Looking forward to a personal Homecoming.

the pie was more expensive this time Pat, but still just as good. I loved being in the place again.....

Pat,
I went to the Venice last Saturday nite and boy did the memories come flooding back. Here are a few: 27th Lancers playing on the juke box and some crazy guy laying on his back imitating their rifle line........hmmm......who was that?????........, all those impromptu visits from the girls from Pennsylvania....., Bridgemen guys posing as bartenders, walking down Cottage Street at sunrise and trying not to wake up the neighborhood, leaving the Venice and traveling to some underground bar in Staten Island, being trapped in the ladies room by some of the Bridgmen guard members devil.gif to name a few.....

Needless to say, it was special to be back in the Venice and I'm looking forward to making many new memories.
